PRAISE: 

• Thank you,  God, for every single person who comes on to the website of Choose To Be.  May God bless you as you find Truth and encouragement in your life... as it happens.  Together we are strong and within relationship with God and others we can find hope to finish strong. 
• We had a great turnout for the Christ Church Lake Forest (Lake Forest, Illinois) Women's Event on Feb. 6.  248 fabulous women came for "What Controls Your LIfe... It may be the opposite of what you think!"  Thanks to each and every woman who attended.  We had a great experience!
• We also had a great time with the Women from Boerne First Baptist Church at the February 19-21 weekend retreat in Fredricksburg, Texas.  Thank you, women of BFB for all your work to make the weekend a success.  Our hearts were so touched by your sweet spirit. 
• Thank you to the people who are financially supporting Choose To Be.  Without your gifts we cannot continue to grow.   You are the fuel to the engine moving Choose To Be forward. 
 

PRAYER NEEDS: 

• PRACTICAL NEEDS:  Choose To Be needs a laptop computer for our financial records to be set up on Quick Books.  We have a Choose To Be team member who will do the work but we need a very basic laptop (maybe you are preparing to upgrade your computer and have an old one to donate). 
  
• PERSONAL for Carolyn and Pat:  Please pray for our summer events as we prepare amid life "as it happens" with family activities abounding!  Carolyn has 7 grandchildren and Pat has 3 (one only 10 weeks old!) so we have lots of fun being available to these little ones and their parents.  We have Choose To Be events scheduled in July and August.

AFRICA -  We (Carolyn and Pat) have been talking with Lorraine (Africa)  and Cari (former SIM missionary) about going to Africa next year to serve the Missionary women and the women in their Villages with a Choose To Be Women's Conference.  There are 7 Missionary Agencies in the same area (Jos) with many who would benefit from such a conference.  The prayer is for the UNREST that has been happening in that area in the last few months.  Please pray for the area of Jos - that it would settle into a safer place where we might go and serve next year.
