... to the needs of others

I will never forget.  It happens to all of us. Those times when we can recall exactly where we were when at the time it may have appeared to be insignificant but instead has lasting impact over our life.

I will always remember exactly where I was when I cried out to God and said, “There is nothing I can do to bring good out of this loss in my life.  Take it, use where I am to change me and help others.  I can’t, but You can.   That was only a few years ago.  That prayer became a daily willingness for God to use me right where I was.”   I made a choice to step out and not wait until I thought I had something to offer, but to ask God to take what to me was useless and make it new and useful.  Over time that short conversation with God prayed on a dirt road in Boerne, Texas became Choose To Be… All God Intends, and now…. we plant a new seed within Choose To Be.

Choose To Connect… to the needs of Others, it's simple.  It is each of us asking God to take us right where we are and use the experiences in our life… as we go and make them useful to meet the needs of someone else.  What we are most excited about is that we can do it better together.  We don’t have to have all the details figured out.  We simply have to choose to step up and say “Here I am God, use me, exactly where I am right now to touch the life of someone else.”

From a simple prayer and a desire to follow God and serve others, He began to give me ideas and opportunities.  Our signature resource in Choose To Be is the Power Pack.  The story of the Power Pack came out of my desire to put in the hands of others what God had used to encourage me when I needed it the most.  The Power Pack is full of God’s life changing Truth’s.  We have created this Power Pack to go out and encourage people one by one, in our communities and churches, around this Nation and across the World.  This is the first of many resources we are creating for you to give to someone who needs to be encouraged.

Let’s get started!

1. Start with a simple prayer, “Here I am God, use me to connect to someone else’s needs.”
