On Sunday morning I was especially blessed by the woman who prayed her new "choice" to Be... All God Intends.   The choice is ours to make but thankfully the choice is empowered by the Holy Spirit step by step with what ever we need to do the next right thing.  And then, as we go... what we gain and grow in is to be given away to another.  He knows our needs and HE is the supply!

      And God will generously provide all you need.  2 Corinthians 9:8     

       What a great time we had with the women from First Baptist Boerne.  Going into the weekend only knowing a few women and leaving on Sunday encouraged by seeing the hearts of so many women hungry for God's Truth.  

      The effort it takes for each woman to orchestrate a weekend away from the responsibilites left behind and then to see 150 of those women ready to have fun, encourage each other and focus around God's Word is a huge blessing!   I loved watching the friendships and the many different women's gifts being used to contribute to a weekend we have all gained from. 

     It was absolutely great being with you!

 ...Today is Valentine's Day and a great day to be thankful for friendship.  We have only just begun to grow this message of speading God's Truth through Relationship and already I have been so blessed by each of you. 

I am getting a much bigger picture of God's design. I love the differences in our personalities and how He uses the differences to reach others  with His love.   I welcome your thoughts and ideas as together we enjoy the process  of becoming Alll God Intends. 

Let's embrace God's love and dive deep into His Word together so that those who knows  us best can see and hear "Him" when they see  and hear us. 

"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."   John 13:35

Happy Valentine's Day!

       How does God do it?  This weekend Pat and I were in Lake Forest, Ill. putting on a retreat for  Christ Church.  I thought I was going there to give and serve and instead  I received way more than I gave and was blessed by the women many times more than I hoped to be a blessing.   Thank you!   It was such an encouragement to see your hunger for God's Truth. 

      Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous are those who hunger and thirst for right standing with God, for they shall be completely satisfied.  Matthew 5:6                                                                                                                                                          

      We talked alot about contrasts this weekend.  When we hunger after God we will be completely satisfied and yet it only makes us hungry for more of God's Truth.   I "hope for"  other opportunities to be with the wonderful women I was privileged to spend time with this weekend. 

And thanks for the snow - it is one of my favorite things!

Have you ever had to take back the statement, " I will NEVER....."? Tonight goes on that list. I just didn't see the value in blogging. I'm pretty certain I was wrong. In my desire to see others experience wholeness in all areas of their life, why would I reject any means of communicating. It really makes sense,(go ahead and laugh) blogging is "current." It's right now, as life is happening, and that is what Choose To Be is all about anyway. OK, count me in!! So, tell me some other benefits you get from blogging.
